Kohl’s Department Store will be the second anchor in Woodbridge Crossing, home to Wylie’s SuperTarget on FM 544.
Wylie Economic Corporation Executive Director Sam Satterwhite made the announcement at the June 22 Wylie Chamber of Commerce luncheon as part of his update on the state of the WEDC.
Kohl’s will be located on the eastern side of the shopping center.
Satterwhite said this is significant not only for the sake of the additional shopping and tax revenue for the city, but also because it will make the center more attractive to junior anchors and other retail outlets.
Construction for Kohl’s is slated to begin in August with March 2011 as a probably opening.
