Former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman to Help Open Wylie Shopping Center
Dallas-based shopping center firm Direct Development is opening its newest project Tuesday – a 65-acre retail complex in Wylie.
The Woodbridge Crossing project at FM 544 and McCreary Road is anchored by a Super Target and View Point Bank Ultimately, more than 500,000 square feet of shopping space is planned in the project.
“As tough as times are today, it takes a true team effort to pull off a development like Woodbridge Crossing,” Direct Development principal Troy Aikman said in a statement.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback – who became an investor and executive with Direct Development in 2006 — will be on hand for the opening ceremony early this evening, along with officials from the city of Wylie and Target executives.
